Texas Drivers License Restoration
If your license is suspended an SR-22 by itself will not restore driving
privileges. You will normally have to pay a reinstatement fee to the
department of motor vehicles. The fee is usually $100; or $125 if from blood
test refusal. In some cases there may be additional requirements such as a DWI
education program, or drug class. If you are not sure what you need for
reinstatement please contact the DMV.
If there are reinstatement items WITHOUT FEES that you wish to mail in (such
as your SR-22); you can send them to:
